Folkens is an award winning and emmy-nominated filmmaker;  he directs and edits on-air and in-Cinema promos for A variety of clients including Disney/ABC Television group -- working with a broad array of A-list talent, from Academy Award WINNER Viola Davis AND THE CAST OF ‘HOW TO GET away with murder’, to leading ladies' Kerry Washington and Ellen Pompeo, and Executive Producer Shonda Rhimes, To WORLD RENOWNED HOST RYAN SEACREST.  He also directs music videos for multi-platinum artists and is in post-production on his feature film debut “CATALYST” WHICH IS SLATED TO PREMIERE 2021.

FOLKENS utilizes A UNIQUE STYLE AND CREATIVE VISION THAT IS CONSISTENTLY APPARENT IN ALL OF HIS CREATIVE WORKS. DRAWING ON HIS BACKGROUND AS A MUSICIAN, FOLKENS OFTEN USES MUSIC TO INFLUENCE HIS VISUAL STYLE, PACING, AND TECHNIQUE. WITH EVERY PROJECT, HIS GOAL is TO: “IMPACT MY AUDIENCE THROUGH DRAMATIC, COMPELLING, AND CINEMATIC EXPERIENCES.”
